Refund Policy

Effective: January 2025

The Short Version

Digital downloads are non-refundable once the file has been delivered. Physical spiral notebooks follow our 14-day return policy from the date of receipt.

We believe in being direct. The full details below explain why these policies exist and what to do if something goes wrong.

Digital Products

All digital products — including The Nothing Journal and any other downloadable files — are delivered instantly upon purchase. Because the file is transferred to you at the moment of sale, we are unable to offer refunds once delivery has been confirmed.

This is standard practice for digital goods. When you purchase a digital product, you receive a permanent copy of the file. Unlike a physical item, that file cannot be returned to us.

Exceptions. If your file is corrupted, incomplete, or fails to download, we will resend it immediately or issue a full refund at our discretion. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase with a description of the issue.

Before you purchase, please review any available previews carefully. If you have questions about whether a product is right for you, reach out before completing your order — we are happy to help.

Physical Products

Physical items — including spiral-bound notebooks and any other shipped goods — are eligible for return within 14 days of the date you receive them.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition in which it was received, including original packaging where applicable.

To initiate a return, contact us at the address below with your order details. We will provide instructions for returning the item. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged or incorrect.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5 business days to the original payment method.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will replace the item or issue a full refund — your choice — at no cost to you. In these cases, you will not be asked to return the original item.

For all refund and return enquiries, please write to us at nothing@thesageco.co. We respond to all messages, usually within one business day. We do not, however, promise to act quickly. That would be out of character.
